Besides mainstream pressfit standard diodes, Actron also developed innovative low loss diode and Ultra low loss diodes to boost efficiency among alternators and improve the overall energy performance among internal combustion engines, further promote carbon reduction and meet the market demand for energy saving.

Automotive alternator is commonly placed in front of an internal combustion engine, driven by belt to provide electrical source for the car. The AC current generated by the alternator needed to be regulated into DC current via the diodes located in the rectifier bridge, then it can be charged into the main battery and distributed to various electrical applications from audio, entertainment systems, dash displays, lights and other controllers.
