Wind turbine inverter is considered a type of electric conversion device. The inverter will turn the AC current originated from the generator into DC current for the back-end power distribution purposes. The common approach is to apply Sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) process to modulate filter, and  boost voltage and frequency to match final application target.
